"Yes to the last 3!
Not many have heard of cloppa castle so thumbs up"
•
I've spent over ten years asking people, friends, colleagues, family etc etc if they remember Cloppa Castle.
Finally someone here remembers it. |

Loved king Rollo and Mr Ben too

Any remember ‘round the twist’ or ‘dungeons and dragons’? |

"The White Horses, Robinson Crusoe.
Not sure if they appeared in Why don't you?"
The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe was shown as a series every few years between 1965 and 1982, after which it was laid to rest in a French archive, but later surfaced on video and DVD releases. |

"I have a very very vague recollection of something called bunyip
Wasn't that an Aussie animation?"
Yes it was. I had to Google as I only really remember the name and a character which made me think of a sunflower. Turns out it was just very round headed and yellow. Looks like it was shown on BBC1 between 88 and 93 |

If you go to Melbourne, you can see a ?statue of The Bunyip outside one of the council buildings IIRC |

Central Portugal |
Jamie and the magic Torch,, Chorlton and the wheelies, Monkeeeeeeeee and the most fucking impossible "the adventure game" which was downright odd but of all the scariest of them all with the worst theme tune is children of the stones. |

I was coming on to mention HR Pufnstuf. My favourite when I was a kid.
There was also 'lidsville' made by the same company.
Catweazle, wooden tops, Andy Pandy, watch with mother, tales of the riverbank, Chigley/Trumpton, timeslip, Follyfoot, Tomorrow people. Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, Thunderbirds; I could go on and on!
Showing our age but TV was far better in the 60s & 70s.

Round the Twist was one of the best shows ever.
Anyone remember Albert the Fifth Musketeer? I loved that "
The episode of round the twist where they were made to say "in my pants" atthe end of every sentence! Classic. |

"Who remembers:
Jayce and the wheeled warriors
Charlton and the wheelies
Cloppa Castle
King Rollo... amongst others "
Yes on the first on. Those vehicles were something else. How about Starcom, with Colonel "Dash" Derringer! |

So many awesome kids shows. Was The Flashing Blade overdubbed on a Saturday morning show? Speaking of which, who remembers Gilbert's Fridge?
Anyone remember Ludwig? What about Charlie Chalk? |
