As the title says what music would you recommend for people to look up, weird and wonderful, underground or something sneaking in the charts it doesn’t matter. For me everyone needs to look up The Hu, Mongolian folk/battle metal, saw them live in November and easily one of the best gigs I’ve been to in Manchester. Also recently signed a deal with LucasArts to do music for Star Wars

Band-Maid - An all female rock band from Japan.

I'm not going too much into it but if you decide to check them out...you're welcome.

I'd recommend the song "After Life"

My favourite artist is Dermot Kennedy... Listen to the early stuff first, Doves and Ravens EP, then move on to his first album "Without Fear"

His lyrics are just beautiful, I've never heard anything like him before.

I hate that it's only taken so recently to notice them. I knew Corey Taylor was lead of Slipknot too but that was too heavy for me, Stone Sour is perfect!

BPF I would say are more blues/garage rock which I absolutely love but hope you do check them out and enjoy

Paul Kelly - His recent collection albums; Poetry, People, Drinking, Rivers and Rain, and Time can just roll along and are fantastic.

The Black Sorrows - Start with the album Harley and Rose then get lost in everything they've done lol

The Dead South - Start with their covers of People Are Strange and You Are My Sunshine

Diesel - Stoopid Fool, Tip of My Tongue, his cover of Rave On is smooth too.

John Farnham - pfft.. literally any sound that comes from his mouth!

Missy Higgins - NYE, The Cactus That Found the Beat

Blues Traveler - Hook, Run-Around

Lindi Ortega - Little Red Boots, I'm On Fire

Vaudeville Etiquette - F. Scott

The Waifs - Lighthouse

The Time Jumpers - On The Outskirts Of Town

Raul Malo - Moonlight Kiss

Little River Band - Lady, Lonesome Loser, Cool Change, The Other Guy
