Spent all day in some high level safeguarding training. I love the law. The trainer was excellent.

So stimulating.

What was the last piece of training you did that you enjoyed?

Manchester-ish

Inclusion and SEND. The trainer was so good I actually wished it had been a whole day instead of an afternoon. Not often that happens!

My most enjoyable training was learning how to pick locks with a world champion locksmith.

I work in FinTech and did a training course on money laundering and how to spot the signs of it. So to do that, that told us how money laundering works

I've never enjoyed training. Learning, yes, but not training, where I feel as if I'm a cog being filed down for greater efficiency.

When we did confined space training at old job that was ok we got to go into an old sewer pipe with all the breathing gear on.

Worst was health and safety, was asleep in the classroom at one point

I can't, they'll suspect something

Same actually. I had organisational safeguarding training followed by local safeguarding training on a new process. It's often much more interesting than other forms of training in my opinion.

Some of the training I deliver is actually pretty good and always well recieved. Love it when they expect it to be bad and it takes them by surprise

Since I became self employed most of my learning comes via YouTube.

I don't miss hours of annual financial regulation training, refresher courses and doing the same check & test exams every frigging year.

These days I pick and choose what I want, when I want.

Fire marshal training. Yes, we got to play with extinguishers, but what made it so fun was the trainer. He had a wire basket full of rags that he was setting on fire for us to put out. He also had some undisclosed liquid in an unmarked bottle, one small capful of which had the wet rags going up like dry tinder with one match...and he got a gleeful demented look on his face every time he set it alight
