Why is it often seen to be more acceptable(I may be wrong with this comment) for an older woman to go for younger guys
but often frowned upon on men going for younger women?  |

And I find it the opposite - I've even lost a friend coz she thinks its disgraceful that my fb is only 22 and im 41 but she admitted if it where the other way round she wouldn't have a problem with it!! |

It's a relatively modern phenomenon. In the dating world it is still unusual. As a 47 year old woman I would be "lucky" to get a 40+ man interested in me for a date.
On here people do things that they wouldn't in a real world setting and so it is acceptable to meet up with older women, fat people, suck cocks when they are straight and more. |
