Hi, Anyone going to be down Goodwood for the Festival Of Speed in July, 13th to 16th? Happy to meet couples for a drink there and compare notes!

I’ll be there but in a works capacity, but it’s one of the best ways to work. Hopefully, subject to all the right clearances, might get to do a Kate Bush in something rather nice. |

Don't go anymore as it's too busy, too commercialised, too much of a pissing contest on who can have the biggest stand ! It was so much better 20 years ago when it was enthusiasts in the crowd instead of people who have got in with a corporate ticket who don't know the difference between and big end and a little end  |

I don't live far away. I'd love to go to see what it's all about, but otherwise I have to avoid the area at all costs because of the traffic!!

One of my favourite weekends. Yes the traffic is bad and local hotels are hard to find, but worth every inconvenience to see everything.
Having to watch on YouTube this year, which given the weather isn't so bad. |

The YouTube coverage is a bit rubbish this year. No commentary and not a lot of interviews mixed in with the hill runs. I ended up watching Smith & Sniff doing a tour around the auction instead, last night. |

Sunday I'll be suffering from Pentax stoop and seeing a physio for some spine correction. I've even snaffed a ride up the hill to video it. |

I used to go to this event every year from maybe the second year it was held but over the years it's become a corporate event where 50% of the people there haven't paid for a ticket and it's become a pissing contest between the manufacturers to who has the biggest show stand. Still a great event but far too busy for my liking |
