"Anyway I love the sun. Makes me happier. And it is just way better vibes.
I feel like too many people in this country love the grey, cold rainy days and that pretty much sums most British people’s personalities. Obvs with the exception of sun lovers like me " ,, im with you on this |

I did sunbathe quite a bit last year and enjoyed it. I was on my first holiday and it was lovely to have consistent hot sunshine beaming down on my body. I always protect my face and make sure to keep it in the shade whilst constantly reapply the highest spf.
I tend to avoid it here though. It's not the same, especially in Ireland. I always end up with uneven skintone because I don't take the time to tan my whole body, but I can't be bothered and don't have the time to sit outside for hours. |

There’s nothing worse on a holiday than lying in the sun, getting hot and doing nothing all day.
I don’t like being hot and sweaty anyway.
The recent weather is plenty for me. I would rather go walking wearing a light coat than a tee shirt. |

I love the sun as it lifts your spirit gor sure. I prefer when not too hot unless on holiday when you can jump in the pool or the sea. The same temperatures feel different when in holiday to over here. |

I think the “heat” is more to do with humidity. In a drier climate higher temperatures are more easily tolerated. |

You realise if I keep agreeing with you on every thread people might start talking but you are right it is that humidity that makes the difference |

I have vitiligo so stay out of the sun as much as possible
Thankfully, my natural skin tone is 'Casper White' so, as long as I stay out of the sun, it isn't too evident
If the sun is out, I am normally to be found in a warm, but shaded corner |

I enjoy sunny days but I'm not made for the heat. Still love it to a certain extent and I work in it no matter how hot it gets, but I'm not the kind of person who wants to go and lie in it when I could be in the shade. |

But it will strengthen your argument put forward in your “Interesting” thread. And you might get to poke me with your Willy. |

"im not so much now cant lie it as much as use to do,, but do like the warmth"
British elusive sun: yes....
Mediterranean sun: I attempt some shade after 4 hours....
Tropical Caribbean/African sun: I need the shade in 15 minutes if I'm not swimming. If I'm swimming I can handle an hour with a hat and sunblock. but I hide from that tropical midday sun. Sunstroke Heat exhaustion are not cool...I know how not to get sun burnt. Luckily I have built-in sunblock but it only last so long! |

Not really, love the sun & i can do the odd hour early morning by a pool with a book but I prefer to be out on the water sailing, diving, fishing or exploring caves / islands. Love the sea all times of the year even mid winter |

Yes, although I'm finding it harder these days. The traditional human sacrifices at midwinter are difficult to arrange and the orgiastic revelling at midsummer isn't really the same with all the health and safety rules. |
