I guess it depends - we put a last minute meet request up last Saturday morning for the afternoon.
We had some interest but not from the people we were interested in. Saturday afternoon is prime family time too so probably not the best time.
We’ve done it whilst away and got more success.
We don’t do it often as we usually plan beforehand but it’s 50/50 on the success of who’s available.

Messages? A lot will send messages or winks
If I actually expected anything to happen I wouldn’t post that way, never works, I’m better off just turning up to a club, plus it’s safer at clubs |

We only tend to post meets when we plan on going to an event or to a club and it’s more looking for people to say hi when there.
We get a couple of messages and maybe a few winks but not many.

if i put a meet up, whether that be because im wanting something spontaneous, or whether it be for a club night or party that im attending, i tend to get quite a few.
a lot will be from people saying hello, as they're going to the same club or event too, which is lush as it sets the introduction ball rolling ready to meet people
and when it's for a private meet, yeah, a few for them too. most just telling me they'll rock my world.. but there are always a few hidden gems too Px |

"Not many. And most of those I do get involved the first line "if only we were closer"
This!
The responses are always from 300 miles away "
Never quite understand why people message when they are so far away and it's clear you are looking for someone local for a meet |

You always get at least a few telling you they’re free at a completely different time.
If you post a meet for 3pm Sunday you’ll get at least one person free on Tuesday evening, one free daytime Monday (if you’re discreet) and at least one who isn’t free, lives 340 miles away, but just thought they’d let you know that if they were free and closer they’d be keen.
There’s usually always at least 3/4 that you know won’t meet as well. |

We used to do quite well with the meet todays.
We only ever did them as spontaneous last minute meets and never had an issue sorting a meet despite living in the sticks.
In terms of numbers I'd say 20+ would be normal. About half of that sensible messages. |

When responding I always make sure I'm nearby and can actually meet. Seems a lot of folks ignore these 2 essential bits |
