I joined a gym and keep promising myself I’ll get into it if go more often.
I just can’t be arsed.
I tried classes, personal training etc. it just bores me. This will be hugely ironic to many when I say I prefer running long distance on my own!! |

Starting the gym was one of the best things I ever did. My mental health has massively improved, I’m more confident and it’s became a hobby rather than a chore.
Once the numbers start going up it almost becomes addictive. |

Go for it, have a plan on where you want to be in 6 months, stronger, slimmer, faster. I don’t like the gym I’m lucky that I have a very active job, 25,000 steps a day and lifting railway shackles on a regular interval throughout the day. But I do have a punch bag in the garage and a floor mate do do a it’ll on my days off, and I walk and run to clear my head to a couple of times a week.
Be realistic with what you do though in regards to how often you can get to do any good solid exercise though |

Gyms are boring, try and active hobby, badminton, tennis, swimming, martial arts, basket ball, even regular walks, anything is better than those vanity rooms, they’re soul destroying. |
