When we have tradies in I'm too busy stopping the dogs going mental and Fox just wants them done and gone as soon as possible so we can crack on with whatever we were doing.
Porn isn't real life. Nobody pops their finest lingerie on and a skimpy bathrobe just because someone's coming to unclog a blocked loo caused by a massive shit, to fix a cracked window that a blind seagull flew into or a carpet fitter is coming round to replace the beige carpet that now has brown stains on it because Auntie Mabel had to go into hospital and you got lumped with dog sitting her geriatric, incontinent cocker spaniel.

I dress in my normal WFH clothing, because usually, the job is being done while I WFH. As a disabled woman, I'm actually concerned at the idea that some tradesmen will assume or try something when I'm the only person in the house with them. I prefer it if my son or his GF are also home.
I have no desire to be made to feel uncomfortable in my own home, so please just come and keep your eyes on the job and depart smartly after. Keep the change  |

But I've see where customers are naked both genders or when woman wears a see through top or the accidental towel drop. One time I was working minding my own business then a woman came behind me started to give me a back massage

In nearly 20 years of working for self can count on one hand the amount who had obviously made a bit of an effort for sake of us being round
I did a job on the cheap for a lass about my age maybe a bit older as felt bad for her after she explained her circumstances why she had to move ect she kept apologising for not being made up when went round in the morning I went ower Thursday night to put her shed up and cut down a few doors that carpet fitters had took off and left and when I turn up she looked a different person summery frock thst revealed her tits that she had her arm under pushing up most the time |

yes its done on purpose, its really easy to not be naked or wearing just a towel when a tradesperson comes round unless they turn up unexpectedly |

I dress normally if I have anyone coming to do work on my house. I actually find it extremely creepy when men seem to think anything else should happen or as the case was one time when they decided they had a right to look into mine and my housemates bedroom cupboards.They didn't even try and hide the fact as they left drawers opened a bit. They also made inappropriate comments about shoes and boots I own. I was disgusted by them ,they were there to do a job not go perve because they were working in a house where two women lived. |

Over the last 4 weeks we’ve had a fair few tradesmen in our house and i just dress normal as i just wnt the job finished. But the 2 plumbers would get it mmm and there work hasn’t finished so who knows i might dress down a little. They could have a look at my leak |

As a lady tradesperson 99% of my clients are women. Almost all of them tell me how uncomfortable men there to do a job make them feel. You’re there to do a job not get laid.  |

There were no signs and if he was an actual professional he he shouldn't have even thought he had any right to do what he and his mate did .We reported them to our landlord and the guy who was in the house and in charge rang us to try and tell us we were imagining it. Until we pointed out that there were filthy foot prints on the carpets right over to both dressers in both of our rooms and how all the lingerie has been moved about and how he was the one who made inappropriate comments to me the day before and I had told him then that it was not his business what footwear I owned. He and his buddy were sleeze bag creeps as far as I'm concerned and should never be working in a house where women live. So yes he did get a bollocking but I've no doubt the creep would do it again given any chance he would get. |

All our tradesmen have just come and got on with the job they are there to do. None of them have gone into another room they shouldn’t be in, they just come do what they need to do and go. It’s just something about the 2 plumbers i like, which could be they have been up our stairs as the boiler is upstairs. And they will have seen my boudoir pics we have on the stairs. |

I will say that every single tradesman I’ve worked alongside has been nothing but respectful towards me but some of my lady clients have told me some right awful experiences |

Well let us know if you dressed up for the 2 plumbers or if anything happens. Everything I do and wherever I go, I always inform the customer every single step. I know gas safe engineers do sometimes check the rooms for any gas fires since you can't have a gas fire in the bedroom. Those are the most common dangerous appliances |

This is the approach all people should take!
Having some random person's fantasy sprung onto you while you're trying to work isn't an attractive thing, and is really annoying as well. A few moments like this led to me being cold with clients for a long time, to make sure there was no way my general manner could lead to them thinking it was anything other than me being there to do my job. |

What you have to realise is that quite often their only intention is to shock or surprise, nothing more. I really wish people wouldn't do it. It leads to unrealistic expectations, puts tradesmen in a very awkward position and just makes life difficult. |
