If we were planning to meet someone but found that the photos they were using had different heads on them when viewing the whole image, then we'd probably chicken out too.

A few years back my partner got accused of using a pornstar's images.

We get that a lot. We’ve given up on single guys outside of clubs now apart from a select one or two . We prefer to meet couples as they tend to be more reliable, meet for a drink and then see what happens |

I even sent photos of the front door and clear directions (you can’t miss the bright yellow pugeot outside!!). There is now a report function on fab for no shows, I report and block.

We will have to start that. We put a request out for guys whilst we were in a hotel. K was blindfolded and tied to the bed! 30 responses whittled down to 5 and none turned up! |

I book double now, and have now made and plan to send a PDF with a map, photos of the front door, the car, and a burner phone into a WhatsApp /kik group for group events with them all in. Hopefully this will reduce no-shows.

There was also no slagging off single guys. Just a commentary on experience and suggestions to avoid it. The fake pics in the middle were not relevant to the original discussion, albeit definitely a very valid reason for the person to pull out.
That said, they should have communicated that they weren’t coming. I have no issue with people cancelling, life happens and people lose the nerve. Totally cool. Just going dark and no showing is poor and disrespectful. |
