Hi all
Let me say this is not how swinging is
We are swingers and are on fab cam on weekends,
We have parties but also social side on cams , what i am seeing is people who are not real swingers .
Swinging is about socials and if sex occurs great if not no problem .
The people on this program are people who want a 5 minute of fame .
If you want to hear from real swingers use the cams or talk to them not the forum where the non swingers hang . |

Lounge firstly you may have your own view
But picking people from a forum and not from the sites itself , we have been swingers for over 10 years , we have a huge social side on cam not for sexual only , swingers do not want a 5 minute fame from a show , this is why swinging is made out to be shallow , we all have an opinion but at least show how swinging really works , not how people assume , which is what this show shows , some of the people on here are and we have seen via here say they are famous swingers , seriously that is not what swingers are about. We do what we do because we enjoy not because we want attention |

That's great for you and works for you, but the lounge is for all topics of conversation by different types of people. The forums provide entertainment and information for everyone, your comment makes it sound like profiles that use the lounge/ forums are not proper swingers? Not by your definition anyway. |

Totally we all have our opinions
My point is the people who did the show did so from the forum and not as people who swing , they chose to say they were famous swingers when they weren’t, none of us are famous swingers we all do what we do for our own enjoyment, happy swinging all x |

I stay away from the cams section of fab as "cyberswinging" isn't for me, your approach probably hasn't got many people rushing over to the chat room to join the other cyberswingers either  |

We've watched 3 episodes and it's entertaining. Staged and fake, but entertaining. One of the single Women said in a newspaper she got paid to have threesomes on the show (no doubt the others do too). The couples don't seem ready for swinging, but they'll go on television to "experiment". A lot of them are parents, we can't help but think of their children being told at school "your Mommy had sex with five Men".  |

I watched some of the first season and I found it to be pretty dire. Full of professional glamour models and semi pro porn stars. The couples that attended tended to be OF creators and such like. It did however highlight the extreme issue of jealousy and insecurities at times which was interesting to see.
Il still rate the cringe worthy naked attraction over it purely as NA makes me laugh, this just makes me shake my head. |

Having been on here for 15 years the only time we've ever ventured into the cam rooms was in the old, old days when the lounge regulars used to take over the Canada chat room for late night virtual parties.
The notion that you aren't a 'true swinger' if you don't cam is hilarious. It's often stated that only 1% of the site use the forums but I can guess that the percentage using cams is probably only marginally higher and the vast majority of people in there are guys looking for live porn style wank fodder, rather than to chat to and socialise with other swingers.
Swinging isn't just one thing or another, but it's definitely about way more than sitting in front of a webcam.

What I'm finding uncomfortable is the pressure they put on to do group sessions. Surely if you're a genuine swinger introducing newbies to the scene you'd understand that it's smart to go at a slow pace. Going from monogamy to an orgy is bizarre. |

I don’t think it’s really for you to say what swinging is to anyone but you. It’s different for different people. The forums obviously have people who don’t actively participate in sex with other people but there are plenty of us who like the social aspect of the forums and we definitely are swingers. We don’t use the cams on here at all for multiple reasons, that doesn’t mean we’re not ‘real’ swingers. I’d rather go to a club and chat to people in person personally. I imagine the show has attracted people who want five minutes of fame but in all fairness, you’d have to be happy with the World knowing how far you’re willing to go for even the sniff of a chance at fame. I’m not bothered either way, the public already have their preconceptions about swinging and that’s not likely to change off the back of a tv show no matter how they go about it. I think it’s good for those who have used it for genuine reasons and it’s a good talking point for lots of people. It’s most likely got a lot of people thinking and could even tempt some to try it for themselves.

Myself and the sammich maker have enjoyed the last few episodes, but it really is not about swinging. It is just soft porn dressed up to be something else and TV land just loves that titillation. The entertainment for us comes from predicting who is into what, how it will pan out and compare some things to our own experiences.
The residents are clearly paid to be there and not acting naturaly. It is scripted reality TV and the agendas are obvious. The old woman with the red hair and leather skirt is troubling at times. I wonder how many folk on fab today have been led here by the show?
I think the hook last week was something like
