It's been some time.
Oh! Last August. I went to one of those auntie hairdressers, you know? First time I've been in one since I was a child. Wanted to get a silk press as I've never had one. The bluntness of those women in that salon! Fucking hell.
It was brilliant though. My hair isn't in too bad shape - they only cut off less than an inch. While telling me I should get layers because I have a moon face and it'll be more flattering. |

August last year, I do find the process tedious, making small talk with someone you don't know, being polite about a cut if it's not how you expected, I would happily say I was unhappy but no way are you coming at me with scissors in hand after I've complained   |

A hairdresser once told me I couldn't have the style I wanted because I have a fat neck (it's not particularly fat). And then proceeded to give me a mushroom haircut. I cried. It took forever to grow again.

A couples of months ago as a desperate measure to fix the disaster of an attempted cut I’ve done on myself. As a neurodivergent person I hate everything about hairdressers, I’d rather go to the dentist. |

Was about 3 weeks ago, which means it's due for another cut this week, if I'm going to keep with my once a month cut instead of the previous once every 6 weeks.
