I was there, though if I remember right, The Almighty backed out, and I think Therapy? replaced them.

Either Metallica at Leeds Festival 2003, or Velvet Revolver in Newcastle 2005 (seeing Slash stand 3 feet in front of me was surreal).

Think i saw them in about 91. I'm well in to 4 figure for live shows and they're probably in my top 3

No, Therapy didn't play that day. The Milton Keynes 1993 bill was as advertised: Diamond Head, The Almighty, Megadeth & Metallica.

Therapy played at Donington on both the 1994 and 95 bills. Maybe that's what you remember perhaps?

The Big Smoke

Prince - Diamond and Pearls Tour at Earls Court 1992 I think. My very first big gig and was absolutely incredible. 3 hours of just Prince and the NPG. He didn’t need a support act

Hard to say but the best may be the ones which have changed the course of music history. I’m thinking of one famous performance by Jeff Buckley, or the gig where Bob Dylan electrified his guitar for the first time to the outrage of the country and western lovers!

There is also this Elvis concert. I don’t know when this was but I defy anyone but Elvis to have a more all-star lineup than this! What a gig this mustv’e been!!!!

For acts that I love I have to say that it’s all of their shows.

Some nights are better than others but for me it’s about the emotion of seeing an act I love.

Maybe - but did you check out Elvis’s lineup from the link? Seriously awesome! Fancy having Marvin Gaye as your backing singer, Keith Moon, Nowl Gallagher, Stevie Wonder and the others I’ve forgotten! Heck! No wonder he was called The King if he could attract those guys to back him! He was right at the pinnacle of the music industry food-chain!
