What's made you smile today

My grandson fell and smashed his head last night and had to have it glued back. (,He's fine) but what's made me laugh he's been lapping up the attention and was treated like a celebrity at school today |

Watching the local smack heads row and fall over each other and then 1 lose his head when his beer topped over and poured everywhere. The simple thing in life for me |

Sun was nice today
Work was bearable
But one of them staring moments in Colchester with woman just stood there looking in to each other’s eyes no rhyme or reason to it
Made me smile anyway |

Newry Down |
My ongoing rehabilitation, after having suffered a very severe bout of viral bronchitis earlier this year is progressing well.
Aside from being away from home all day, I was able to fit in a total of four hours of walking in a new route, in an interesting location.
Very satisfactory! |

So many things.

Raking the soil level and flat after planting two apples trees.
Feeding the peacock at 7.00am who woke me up chirping at 3.30 this morning.
Then seeing him of the house roof at 4pm hoping for his tea.
making a tasty fresh smoked fish meal half pissed. and getting no complaints.
Getting an email asking me in for an interview next week.
making it to 9pm and not being moaned at for doing something.

An elderly lady was walking these couple of gorgeous little dogs and I said hello. 20 mins later she was still chatting to me. In the end I had to say I am sorry but have to be somewhere, said goodbye to thr doggies and the lady and off I went. It did make me smile as I hadn't done for very long time. I love some of the elderly people that are just so friendly. |

"Seeing a mother fox and her 3 cubs playing at 3 this morn on way to work x"
Nothing until i read this brought back a fond memory of out walking on our farm with my dad.
One morning we saw a vixen playing with two cubs on a nice sunny morning we sat in silence and watched them for ages.Lost my dad couple of month ago and its been hard.
Being reminded of little things like this and happier times make it easier.
Thank you |

My mother in law has been pissing us off for days. Ridiculous numbers of phone calls and texts at stupid times. Paranoid ramblings. Crazy accusations. I finally snapped and told her to stop ringing if she had nothing to say and I hung up on her. That felt good. Then I got a text saying "I don't like your attitude young person!". It has really tickled me. I love it |
