Err....I can remember half of it
It's what happens with digital contacts and mobile phones. Before they existed I knew by heart all the important phone numbers of family / friends.
Ease of use doesn't help to exercise your memory.... |

Nope I never remember phone numbers. It could be helpful though.
Someone text me recently and it was clear I should have known who they were. 4 messages in I was about to catch up for coffee and still didn't! Was too awkward go then ask. Thankfully I added them to what app and they had a photo!
Times like that having a head for numbers might be handy |

This has prompted me to actually write some down in case my phone breaks or something "
I wrote a phone list and add to it when I remember. I swopped my phone SIM some time ago and was happily adding contacts to the new SIM. Someone looked and asked what I was doing. Oh, you don't need to type them this helpful person said. He took the phone, tapped away at the screen and.......poof.....all my numbers allegedly vanished to a cloud....and never came back. I lost every single contact.
