PPI .... claim back .. anyone done it ?

Jump to: Newest in thread

Just spent an afternoon filling out a few PPI claim back forms from various banks and credit card companies ...

anyone else done this and being successful ?

Ive decided not to use claim back companies as all the forms you need are on the banks websites and not too bad to fill them in .....

we`ll see what happens over the next few weeks ??

yes, took six months but only with one company. I also did my own leg work. Why pay someone else

A friend applied to several companies and each took a different time scale and some fought every bit of the way.

How long can you go back with credit cards to be able to claim. Im sure i had a credit card through Littlewoods home shopping about 12 years with a sort of PPI included.

Anyone who is thinking of using one of these no win no fee company need to be steered away from them.

Banks pay out more direct than to 3rd parties.

I know this because i worked in a bank dealing with pension mis selling and this area.

If you are offered something close to what you feel is owed or reasonable accept first offer as it can drag on once you reject as fsa get involved.

Check the small print and make sure you're going to get all of your money and that you're not going to be paying huge admin fees.

Good Luck
