I'd rather have sex with a woman who was poor but good looking, than a rich one who wasn't. I'm not interested in other peoples wealth or lack thereof...I'm more interested in intelligence and personality, combine that with good looks, then see how quick my clothes come off....but who is to say what I find attractive? It's totally subjective.

money, as long as it isnt accompanied by class distinction.

Money can be spent, but good looks just make some people lovers of themselves.

also depends a little on what someone is looking for, long term relationship, short term fun etc. Interesting to see the varied replies, just shows how we all have different tastes and desires etc.

People who are rich are usualy inteligent and have a good personality though.

In the swing scene money does not come into it, as you are not looking to spend the rest of your life with said person.

Wealth does not necessarily equate to intelligence, IMHO.

Wealth certainly does not buy sophistication and style, just look at the likes of Elton John!

My honest answer would have to be,,,,

I wouldn’t field the question, because I don’t feel my life experience lends itself to giving an objective answer….!.

If i had to choose between the two I'd choose money as I could pay for looks or pay people to be my fluffers and give me loads of compliments

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

"In what context are you asking the question ?"

Deliberately left it a bit vague to see the responses - could be, would you personally rather have looks or money, or in someone else what do you find more attractive, or as many people have pointed out are either important? We have a society where both have become a major focus just wondered what people thought.

I've met some pretty stupid and unpleasant rich people, also met some very bright and personable ones.

Older Hot Bearded Guy

Speaking in terms of 'vanilla' online dating; most girls, I'm afraid to say, these days, are more interested in what the guy can 'provide', than actually getting to know the individual as a person. In my experience, anyway.

It's all about what job you have, what car you drive and the size of your bank balance.

Partly why I'm on this site.

The conventional dating world is awash with the MIC and TOWIE brigade, it seems..

Have to agree with that I am very very cautious of women who I meet in my private life

Just asking what's most important LOOKS or MONEY isn't enough ....

Do you mean... To get a partner, To choose a partner, to get a job , To enter a beauty comp, to be financially secure ...... what ?

If you are making me choose it's MONEY.

What good are looks if im fugging starving and homeless.

In a meet situation or away from Fab?

Looks for the former.

For the latter, i would have to take into account his financial situation.

Maybe....but i would be prepared to do the same, say in a house buying situation, having been caught out by someone who wanted me and thought i should keep him, i am now extremely wary.

But a persons looks are primarily an accident of birth….!.

So surely anyone attaching real importance to a situation that is predominately down to random chance subsequently devalues all those people who happen to be negatively self-conscious about their own appearance.....
