Fucking great thread dude
Ours, (I’m informed) is squeaky clean as it had a dishwasher tablet trick on it just last weekend.
I do use it when I can but I’ve honestly never paid attention to its cleanliness.
I hope this thread helps raise washing machine tray cleanliness awareness |

Our new washer instructions advise us not to use washing machine cleaner liquids, only to run it on an inbuilt cleaning cycle every X weeks or cycles. I clean the detergent drawer but because we put the detergent straight in the drum in the cap, means little actually goes IN the drawer. It's just the fabric conditioner that goes in the drawer...... |

It’s fairly clean because I use washing tablets that I throw in the drum. However, my kids are determined to block the washing machine with errant pieces of Lego that magically appear despite me checking their ruddy pockets! |

The drawers should come out and best cleaned by hand in the sink, also Soak a cloth in white vinegar and place cloth in drum also half a cup of bicarbonate of soda in the drum, put it on a short 30/40 degree cycle and voila one clean sparkly machine …… you are welcome |

How does that even get dirty?
I put my washing liquid in a plastic ball thingy straight into the drum. I checked the washer draw after reading this... then closed it straight away. I'm ashamed, nothing even been in the washer draw
I feel unnecessary stress now

The concrete block inside has probably deteriorated. Get a man in |
