I can't narrow it down, in all honesty, but for me, The Stone Roses wouldn't be in the top 100, but then, I really can't get into the Manchester indie scene at all.

I genuinely cannot think of a more overrated band than Stone Roses.

Lyrically basic, shite singer. One melody

local, but not too local

Stone Roses guitarist was ok at painting, otherwise…

I mean, I like Soundgarden but they were really just a Sabbath covers band.

DM did a couple of good albums 30 yrs ago.

Even The Beatles only did a few good albums. Same for Led Zep and Floyd.

I’m struggling here.

Oasis for me, yeah they ripped the Beatles off, they aren't the greatest musicians and Liam can't sing like he used too, but they captured a moment and a feeling in time that we will probably never see repeated again.

"AC/DC. Best live band I have seen and one of the top selling bands of all time."

In my Top 5 of bands, those YouTube videos of their River Plate Shows are so good. All night long is just brilliant with the crowd interaction.

Depends how you want to define ‘best’.

If you want to talk impact then I might say ‘Band Aid’.
