I’m looking to buy a car and it is my first time buying a car in over 25 years is Big Motoring World a good place to buy a car in the £8000 - £12000 range.I went to my local Big Motoring World yesterday and there was no prices on the cars but a sales man showed me how to scan the QR code so that I could get the price of the car and more details. How the world has changed god I feel old.

Never heard of them but don't dismiss main dealers as the car world has changed greatly & even cheap bangers are £3k.

BCA own the majority or Auctions, Cinch & "we buy any car" (WBAC) so are controlling the market & used prices are huge as anything newish & decent they keep for Cinch and by over paying too much at WBAC they then have huge reserves at Auction so 3rd party dealers start at a high price.

Main dealers have a reputation to protect buy cannot over charge on used cars as the inflated price will show against new cars on the forecourtso are now often the more competitive place.

Good luck.
