"Have you tried changing the HDMI leads as it may be a dodgy connection in the lead thats not transmitting the visual but still the sound or try a different port if available "
Just using from arieal at the moment. Yep that second thing I thought of. After screen timer been on . think its just over heating from been switch on too long left on standby . causing a fault . |

I am sorry I can't help but mine seems to constantly be losing the sound and have to restart the box. Sometines does it almost every day and other times once in a while. Not easy faults to diagnose. Good luck with yours. |

My computer has similar issues when it gets hot
Is there enough ventilation behind it? It may be worth sticking a desk fan behind it to see if its a difference |

Check your TV settings to see if it is on power saver mode. If it is on a power saver, your screen will automatically power off while the sound is still active. Hence, if your TV has this feature, we recommend that you disable the power saver mode or Energy save mode to ensure no interruptions while viewing. |

The most prominent cause of a blank TV screen is a fault in the power supply board. Generally, TVs have more than a power supply board alongside a T-con board and other internal parts.
To determine if it is a power supply issue, connect your TV to an independent power source. If it works, then the problem is not with the TV but the power outlet. |

your tv is suffering dry joints you need to resolder the power board.
it heats up so shuts the tv down and then you turn back on then you get same again.
its where the heat expands enough the metal so disconnects them from the power |

It's a bit like going to the doctors and poking yourself to show the doctor here it hurts. But when he presses, it doesn't hurt. The doc tells you you've got broken finger.
Stupid analogy I know, but try fresh batteries in your remote.
Strange things happen when they start to go flat. !!!! |

Whilst you are at it, can you tell me why the sound goes on mine and I have to restart my sat box to get it back. The frequency of it varies |

Could be the backlights. Either a faulty strip or driver board - all depends on the model.
I had a problem with mine a couple of years ago where I had a dark strip down the middle of the screen.
Bought a new set and my son and I swapped them out. Good as new |
