"Because this person exists only in their imagination. "
Don't be throwing shade at the corporeally challenged. Especially as they can't cast their own.
That's just, mean. |

Loads of people put ‘you know who you are’ on forum posts and no one knows you it is…
When me and C had single profiles but were FWB’s I’d put a cryptic status up that only she’d know, without saying ‘you know who you are’

"Do people put on their status “Thank you for last night/today - you know who you are”
Why not just tell that person directly ? "
Because they have something missing in their life and they don't receive enough attention or any whatsoever so they believe by doing this people will think their life is better than it is .. sad really but common |

Yes it's attention seeking, but meh everyone does it to an extent on here and on other platforms. From I've had a rubbish day to I'm so tired after last night's fun. It's the way of the modern world |

They probably didn't even meet anyone and were watching Eurovision! There's a hell of a lot of fantasy on here |

"I think the more pertinent question should be ‘why do people start threads questioning people’s behaviour on here’ ?
"
Same reason that most threads are started. Is this thread anymore irrelevant than 'what's for tea' type threads ? |

Jesus! You lot are a bit bitter and nasty this morning!
I see it as the joy and pleasure that can’t be confined and isn’t satisfied by just telling one person, so they tell everyone.
I’d much rather see a happy person than the slew of negative and desperate updates that tend to prevail |

Its the same on some Hotlist confession, Secret Crush threads, if they know who they are then why post 'they know who they are'. find it a bit strange as to tell other people, they know who they ae. |

Because why not
Also naming isn’t allowed
It’s only a status, people run their profile their way
My question would be why does it bother you if they’re having sex or not, if they’re lying or having a blast makes no difference to anyone else, let others have enjoyment in their own way without feeling judged |
