"When I didn't recognise him... the photo was so old it was like I was sat with his dad... so I downed my pint, said it was nice to meet you, I'm leaving now and I left"
Mine was similar but he turned got really arsey when I got up to leave and the bar staff needed to get involved. I cried on my taxi back home and couldn’t bring myself to do it again for a long time. |

Not a date but once met a woman on a night out, a very long taxi journey back to hers and I got nothing but one word answers all the way back. I dropped her off and got the taxi driver to take me home. |

My worst date was with my first serious boyfriend. We were walking along chatting (sober!) and I tripped over a paving slab and fell. I went down like a sack of spuds. The look of shock on his face still makes me inwardly cringe/ laugh to this day. One minute he was chatting to me, the next I was on the floor. Was mortified.
We went on to be together for 9 years though. |

My worse date was a lot of years ago, I took him to dinner at this diner he’d been wanting to try in my hometown so we made a date of it with the plan being him staying at mine that night
At the diner they had a challenge meal so he decided that was what he wanted, he put himself into a food coma and couldn’t do anything other than sleep
He asked for another date the following week, I said no |

Met up with a girl on tinder who turned out to be a catfish. All of her photos where taken a long time ago when she looked very different.
Talking to her was like pulling teeth and during the date she admitted that she still lives with her partner and her son. We didn't go on another date. |

Date started well but soon become obvious he wasn’t just drinking, white powder was also being taken. He did so much he lost the ability to talk properly, guy on the next table noticed and started talking to me……..I went home with him instead |

Before my ex, I meet a cute chick on POF. The chat and bants flowed & we divided to meet at cremes for our 1st date.
Meet & she looked stunning like she did in her pics but shy but ain’t we all on 1st dates lol. Problem was for 40mins she safely spoke just 1 word responses. Did my best to make her feel comfortable and using open questions etc but nothing! I’ve had more fun eating celery & scrubbing the toilet haha |

Met someone I was dying to take out. Looked stunning but couldn't string a sentence together. All she talked about was about thingies and watsits. She was amazing naked but just lay there never moved. Was like a life size doll. Weirdest night of my life. Knew a few other blokes who had exactly same experience with her.

Hmm.
Maybe the couple I met, with the guy who thought he wanted a bi MMF but in reality freaked out at the sight of a hard cock, tripped and fell straight through a glass coffee table.
Or maybe the girl with the parkour injuries who was so out of it on painkillers that she fell asleep in the pub, on our first date.
No, actually. Probably the girl I agreed to go to a swingers club with, but when I picked her up she had another girl with her, who she said was her cousin. They were so drünk they spilled an entire bottle of rosé all over the back seats of my car, then managed to piss off every person we met at the club. Starting arguments, knocking drinks over, shouting at people … I just left them there and went home. |

"When I didn't recognise him... the photo was so old it was like I was sat with his dad... so I downed my pint, said it was nice to meet you, I'm leaving now and I left" I’ve had the same experience, was struck almost dumb. Followed through with the date in a trancelike state, then said my goodbyes. He was rather cocky and blasé to boot, so had obviously got away with it before |

The time the police came knocking to do a welfare check after a failed mff meet, it was clear she didn’t want to be there so I made an early exit, she downed half a bottle of drink and needed her stomach pumped so they came to ask me what happened and I was sat in pjs at 3am explaining bdsm Dom/sub dynamics to 3 very red faced officers
Or the one that came to my work place to shout after I didn’t want a second meet
Or the time my hose was egged after a fab meet
The list goes on, we live and learn I suppose |

When i met someone via another app a few years ago. Got on like a house on fire until he mentioned he was married. Called him all the lying, cheating scumbags under the sun. He said he'd met other women and they were fine and what was the problem? Called them a few things too. Downed my drink and left. |

Great first date, the conversation flowing just like the wine. Ended up back at mine to get amorous and could feel something inside her it ended up being a Budweiser bottle top that was carefully removed by me. She said oh I’d wonder what happened the the top. |

Somehow managed to get a date with a gorgeous, well-known pro-domme to go to a Shibari class together, then out for drinks/back to hers after…at least that was the plan, what actually happened was when she arrived at the class venue she was already off her tits on booze and snow, and was still wearing a latex dress and heels from a fetish event she’d been to a couple of days previously and had not been home since.
What was most baffling was how elegant and in control of herself she’d been every other time I’d seen her up to this point.
I took her home for her own safety but said good bye on the doorstep, for the next 6 months or so I got sent extremely graphic video/voice/photo messages at random intervals that were supposed to show me what I was missing. |

He was that nervous that he simply stared at me like a rabbit caught in headlights.
And I played nicely too as it was a non fab date
Oddly enough we laughed it off afterwards and he's become such a great friend |

I have 2! Both from Tinder, not Fab.
Date number 1. I had a few successful dates with this guy and it got to date 4 and he invited me to his house for dinner and board games. His house was out in the sticks and I knew tonight was going to be the night for some action . Got there, had a really lovely meal and he did actually get a board game out, which I was surprised by as I thought it was an excuse. He excused himself to the bathroom and as I was sitting setting it up…his wife returned with her two kids in tow and asked me why I was at her kitchen table playing with her 8 year olds son’s toys. Turned out he was married, she had gone for the week to her mothers but the younger kid had taken ill so they came home.
He refused to come out of the bathroom and she burst into tears. I offered to leave but she said “no stay” and I was like a deer in headlights. She sent the kids upstairs and I told her that we hadn’t had sex but that I was really sorry, I didn’t know he was married and I had really come over and had dinner and was playing a board game. She was a real classy lady as well, a bit older than me, didn’t blame me and in fact gave me an umbrella and paid for my taxi to the train station and thanked me for my honesty. I felt so awful about it.
He sent me a message 3 days later saying she had thrown him out and asking if we could carry on where we left off and I told him where to go. |

2nd bad date.
Also from Tinder.
His picture was VERY flattering, so flattering that the taxi driver asked me did I really want to get out the taxi . Then we went to this little cocktail bar and he started complaining that his wine wasn’t put in the right glass. There were some guys at the table next to us that were a bit rowdy and he started making comments about their social status . I started wishing I was on the other table rather than this one because it was mortifying and they could hear him. He then told me that he had picked his new house on the basis of school catchment areas and I said innocently “oh do you have a kid then?” And he seriously told me no, he just has a two year window to meet a girl and have a baby so that as part of his 20 year plan the kid is at a certain age at certain points in his career. The next table started laughing at that.
I mentioned the interesting fusion cocktails they did at the bar, scrabbling for something to say. “Oh only people with no class would pick something like that” he said and i wistfully put the cocktail menu down. When he went to the toilet, the next table sent me a paid for cocktail and had asked the bar person to deliver it over and ask me if I was okay and if I needed one of them to come over and save me from my date they were willing to help . It gave me the impetus to get up and leave, giving the men a smile as I left but feeling absolutely mortified. |

I have had many a bad date! But the two standouts were the catfish, he looked nothing like his pictures and when I asked him about it he changed the subject… I went to the ladies and escaped ha.
The other time was a guy from tinder, he was really chatty over text and we went to a pub… well, he just gave one word answers to everything it was so awkward, there were guys at the next table who were clearly listening to the car crash of a date then, when I thought it couldn’t get any worse I started ch**king on an ice cube omg it felt like it took forever to melt while I coughed and ch*ked I swear turning blue! He just looked at me and didn’t react at all… even when one of the guys on the next table came to ask if I was ok! |

Hmmmm could be the couple where she looked nothing like her 25 year old photos, or maybe the false address one. Then there's the one where the husband became insanely jealous of his wife's passion for Cherry, or the one where Tony was mauled by their dogs |

I had a date with a guy I’d met on POF. We were chatting,. He gets up, goes to the loo, comes back and says “we both know this isn’t going to go anywhere let’s leave it there”. And he just sat there waiting for me to leave. And waited. Glaring at me. He didn’t speak another word to me.
I was a little bit taken aback by his honesty, so I awkwardly finished my drink (non-alcoholic), got up and left and walked back to my car in the multi-storey car park, alone, in the dark. I got in the car and felt like crying. Put me off online dating sites that.

When I was in my twenties . No mobile phones , only land lines if had. There were a group of males , females that on Saturday nights used to pair up to go into local disco.
( Couple rate cheaper and more easy to get in) One female did not get on with. This due being blamed for not picking her up once to go to a party. I was working away that weekend and could not get home. She said I should have not worked that weekend , spoilt her weekend going out. My job at that time was mostly working away from home.
So one of the males got to invite another female out on a date. She insisted that she would bring a female friend and yes bring another male. Date was going out for a meal. So table had been booked.
Yes most will guess it was female who did not get on with. Was my date. A very frosty couple hours . Me speaking to mate and his date. Other female speaking with my mate and female.
Only good thing was my mate and female ended up married and last time saw them about six years ago were still married .

Many years ago before Louise, met a girl on a night out. Pretty, nice outfit, v fit etc, invited me back to her place and as she opened the door the smell of cat and shit nearly knocked me out. Carpet covered in about half inch of cat hair and stained, multiple piles of cat poo around the place, some of which looked days old. I got about 2 steps in and had to turn around and go. Very disappointing! D |

The reason I went on date was , I thought was going with female who yes paired up with on most disco nights, if at home. . But as working away so much . Unfair on her being on own at week and weekends, which could be for a month or more . |

Ruby met a couple and the woman just laid there, no movement, no sound, no reciprocation. So bad. She was obviously doing it just to please her man. Ladies in couples, please do not do this, it's purely selfish and totally unfair.
Be honest with your man and tell him it's not for you.

Few years back went on a date with a guy who after 10 minutes of chatting went into great detail of how he stalked his ex girlfriend and broke into her flat! Wasn’t long before I left. The he wondered why I didn’t want a second date!
