"Not sure be happy just turfing up in man mode for a bod .lol and can you imagine what they'd think if I rang up to ask first"
I'd suggest calling first so you can assess their reaction. If they sound happy, then go. |

In the current modern age, I would expect that it would be a common occurrence for many stylists. Sure some people will be more prudish than others, but the last decade has seen a real explosion in gender identity confidence... meaning that blurred lines between gender stereotypes is most definitely mainstream.

Also... why should you need to care "what they'd think", you're entitled to express yourself in whatever way you choose, without shame or prejudices.

If you're wanting a wig styling, try searching for local hair extension / wig salons as they'll be used to people dropping wigs off no questions asked.

Because they take it out on the work they’re doing, I’m a cis woman and want short hair but the stylists I can access aren’t nice and would purposely make it look bad, I tried popping in to ask or even calling but it was horrible so I now just stay away |

That's so weird (and sad), I just assumed that people's business would rely on their reputation for work. |

as above i find it highly wrong.
now i have been in both the mens and ladies stylists at college certain things you cant get done in the mans training at college.
as i can name 2 styles that are not done in mens training.
streaking hair is one of them.
so im sat there within a ladies department having my hair streaked within college.
yeah i had a nice chat with the ladies and had the funny looks from the ladies that was having there hair styles done at the time.
the student trainees was loverly and so was the staff member.
there is one other i can think of home stylists
just incase you dont know anyone does a bad hair style can have there license removed.
it does not matter if you are male female or trans.
