What are the effects of social media on offline socialisation?

A force for good or force for evil?

for a penny

As with everything else, it depends on how you use it.

It has revolutionised communication therefore making socialisation easier but so many people have used it as a substitute for off line socialisation.

On the other hand it has been a benefit for those who genuinely can’t socialise offline
