They say there are two types of people in this world - people with short arms and long pockets and people who spend cash like it is going out of fashion.
So what about you, are you a tight arse or not? Or are you a tight arse with certain people but not your friends or your partner / kids?
I am generally not a tight arse, but equally don’t splash the cash willy nilly. And try to be careful with money, not chasing the latest iPhone etc.
But would be interested to hear your thoughts… |

I'm not really either. Somewhere in the middle. I'm quite sensible day to day. Love a good deal on something. But I also love treating friends, family and loved ones. I'm trying to save a bit more currently, so being even more sensible. Ish.
Tequila doesn't cost anything in my mind. Nor do hotel rooms. |

No but fr, these days I’m really tight. but still try and spoil my daughter. And get creative with cheap thoughtful gifts for my partners and friends of I want to treat them. |

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon |
If I have money, I'll help anyone out who needs it, and I'll indulge my love of giving "thinking about you" gifts to friends. And that can mean the last £5 in the bank goes to make someone smile. Because as long as my dogs are fed and I have coffee and milk, I'm set. Don't need anything else.
I have had a lot of problems with money in the past, due to me and to those around me, and it's fucked me over. But I'm completely debt free now and plan to stay that way. I won't do things if I can't afford them, and I often can't. |

Money leaks from my bank account like sand through an hourglass.
Sometimes it goes out in chunks, and trickles back in, but I'm usually skint
I'm saving up for a trip to Italy and my offspring keep 'borrowing' it.

I'll give it back, honest. |

I'm kind to my own detriment at times and I'm far away from wealthy.
I do spend quite recklessly at times though I'm better than I used to be.
I'm not remotely selfish or greedy with it. I love to share and be generous. Not grand ways but little things.
I am potentially about to come into some money and aside from the bills, a bit of redecorating etc and treating my sons, I actually can't wait to be able to help a couple of friends out too |

I earn well and I spend well. Everything I buy I use. I travel a lot and have no loans or credit cards. Not tight and don’t overspend. If I need I get it, if I want it, then I need it so I get it. Life is about enjoying yourself and I love life. |
