Two fishermen in a competition in a place called Ohio, which is actually a State in America, have been jailed.

In the competition to catch the heaviest fish for prize money they were caught putting lead weights inside the fish they caught. lead is known to be a heavy metal and used in roofing and to line coffins for very rich people. Should they have been jailed? Has anyone on fab served time in an American jail. This is all over the news

I think jail is a bit OTT for cheating in a competition.

Depends if it was to win money .

If it was they should be jailed.

It's called fraud.

Maybe they nicked the lead off their local church roof and that was why the were jailed, rather than it being anything to do with the fish?

Tom - I'm suprised you haven't posted about the man electricuted to death by a massage wand, whilst wearing a swimming costume, and with a 9cm tube with his name written on it and a ping pong ball both up his bum. It's all over the news.

One thing is unclear. Cheating is one thing but where the fish released with lead in their bellies. They might have trouble swimming and die a long and painful death or even be a dangerous meal for an unsuspecting barracuda. One thing is certain. There is more to this than meets the eye
