Feel for you ladies at the moment and whether to dig out the summer frocks yet or keep the winter gear out, what have you gone with?

I had a dress on yesterday for an hour, took it off and put leggings and a jumper on . It looked warm enough from my bedroom window, it was the opposite when I stepped outside.

Well in summer the rain isn't quite as cold...

East London

Indoors I've been wearing thick socks and boot slippers since last November.

I've recently switched to lighter slippers and my feet feel cold.

Outdoors I'm still in jeans and a cardigan.

Indoors I have cold hands because the heating is off even though I'm wearing a thick top and a cardigan.

I'm looking forward to getting up and walking around in cotton trousers and a thin t shirt

My daughter's flat is an energy saving one and is so warm even without the heating on that I sit in a vest top.

In summer it's unbearable.
