Considering my profile is pretty darn clear on the issue ( well I think it is anyway ), messages like this are an obvious sign that someone hasn’t read my profile and probably isn’t aware of anything else about me either so it’s an instant no and block from me. |

I’ve only once sent this message. I met someone for a social who, within about 3.5 seconds proved themselves to be a waste of time.
I dispensed with her company and popped on fab, messaged someone - fully expecting to be shot down - and she said yes!
For what happened next, put your phone down. Now make a ‘zero’ with the thumb and index finger of your left hand. Make a fist with your right hand but extend your index finger. Insert the right index finger into the zero of your left hand. Poke your tongue out. Now rapidly move your right finger back and forth.

Well you're 230+ miles away driving so that's going to be a solid 5-6 hours allowing for traffic... I'd need to shave and strim down below. And probably need snacks and cake to energise before leaping into action. So maybe ready by about 5am tomorrow....    |

Strangely it’s rare we get these - but had one only 30 minutes or so ago.
No we can’t we have kids and commitments and all the mundane stuff going on that means we have to plan for.
Anyone who actually reads our profile would get that - so simply by asking they’ve filtered themselves out for us anyway |

There are so many ways it can ultimately fail if you plan ahead!

The 'Meets' calendar tool here is worth looking at for sure, esp if you live near hotels. -pt |

We get that alot too!! Also asking if we're out now.
In fairness our dogging meets do tend to be spur of the moment but only happening when we have a meet up on the profile.

Not done that years but with my ex we would often go to a city for a weekend break , go to a bar have a few drinks and get on fab and then either get an Uber to a couples house or meet a couple out and go to our hotel, It was really good fun. |

Our meets definitely take some planning with chins are etc. can’t say we’d be dead set against it if we’re free and no kids etc.
But I still don’t think we’d be up for “last minute” meets.

I could but whether i would? If we exchanged a few messages and chatted beforehand on the phone I’d probably set myself up for the abject disappointment of going to Costa to eat a muffin on my own when they ghost me |

Closest that's happened was when we started chatting for about a week and then that morning on an impulse we decided to meet up that evening in a hotel and it was a really good experience. But I'd never agree to meet now because I'm never meet ready that quickly  |

I've only ever had one spontaneous meet.
Normally I chat for a few weeks or longer before meeting for a social.
On one occasion someone I had only chatted to the night before invited me to her hotel room the next morning.
She was extremely well verified so there was little or no risk and even though it was 50 miles away I was going passed anyway for a non fab related event.
I remained fully dressed throughout while she was naked and it was all about her. 20 mins later and she took a call from friends in the next room arranging breakfast so I left.
No regrets as I can say I'd tried it but I much prefer a longer build-up and getting to know the other person.
That was confirmed by her message later that day thanking me for an amazing morning and she then blocked me. |

I have other apps for "meet me now" that are a lot more reliable than Fab. For me, it's more something I'll do if I'm already out on the town and feeling like a hookup. At least then you can meet somewhere public before you decide if you want to go through with the hookup or not. |

Get these all of the time, usually a profile with dick pics or none at all. Firstly I don't do spontaneous meets like that, and secondly why would I want to meet you if I don't know what you look like. Usually gets them added to my block list

We get thos frequently, despite making it abundantly clear in our profile that it's not something we can do. Don't get us wrong, we'd love to.
But work/child/animals/life etc gets in the way and swinging is a tiny part of our lives and will never cause us to ditch existing commitments just for a quick bunk up.

But I have done meet nows but with planning on my part
Ie I have gotten ready and flying the meet now flag
My rule is always if they not flying the meet now flag assume they not looking to meet now |
