Why is it that the writing on any packaging is getting smaller and smaller to the point you can hardly read it. And no, it's not my eyesight, it is definitely shrinking

It’s a ploy to increase sales of magnifying glasses. Don’t fall for it!

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

It isn't. Your arms are getting longer.

I have to hold it further away nowadays!

So much so that I ran out of arm length and had to get glasses

I was thinking this the other day. Despite the amount of self abuse I imposed in my younger days (and nights) (mornings, afternoons, evenings - you get the picture) my eyesight is excellent.

But I couldn’t read the cooking destructions on some chicken recently. I remember wondering how someone older and crumblier than me could manage.

Tbh quite often is also tiny so it's too late by the time you take to the till. I was looking at this magazine (gardening before any assumptions are made) the other day. I could not find the price anywhere, took it to the till and the guy pointed Ted to a tiny bit next to the barcode. No way I could read that even if I knew where it was. Btw, was too much so I left it

Good point

The box size and amount of product is shrinking ( price stays the same or increases) but they still need to get all the same info on the box.

Maybe they will just put a slip of paper in soon like they do with paracetamol!
