Lego is probably the most used toy
Jump to: Newest in thread
in our home, we've had a large chest of it for many years now, all our children and our grandchildren have played with it, they have new toys but still they go back to the Lego, it's probably the best value for money toy you can buy.
Have you got anything that you have had for years and still use today, that's given great value for money?
Have a lovely evening all. |

To be honest I'd agree with you on lego. It's timeless. Sparks kids imagination and it's pretty much indestructible so whilst it ain't cheap to buy it's brilliant value for money
But it hurts to fuckery if you stand on it in bare feet! |

The temptation to buy a set or two still lingers. |

'Grandchildren' I find hard to believe!
We have a trunk of lego, also Hornby train set, and some wonderful Victorian games that belonged to my gran (which the kids loved). No sign of grandchildren here. |

A thermos flask i bought in January 1989, just after joining the army.
Its like an artillery shell. Travelled to world with me, and i still sometimes use it for work today.
Its indestructible.
Ah Lego. It is ageless. It keeps kids and certain adults amused for hours..
Christmas mornings were great, seeing my two boys opening their presents, seeing the Lego that they've been given, and knowing id be building it later.

When my son was about 16 I packed all his best books and all his lego up ready to pass on to future grandchildren. Never to be seen again. I haven't moved house and just seems to have dissappear which is a great shame but yes it was the most played with toy in my house |

"Still have Lego here. Actually use it as a form of thinking when I’m working, putting the pieces together helps focus my kind a bit

I read somewhere that Lego are the largest manufacturer of tyes in the world and that there are approx 86 lego bricks per person in the world.
So 86 multiplied by roughly 8 billion is 688,000,000,000 lego bricks!!!!
If stacked on top of each other it would be 2,386,065 miles tall |

I did and a great supplier of Darth Vader's city Mechanics - a staple member of my former Lego town. Many a customer. |

I was worried about stretching the NHS for a minute with this one.
The problem with Lego is that even secondhand now it's like the price of bricks. Have you seen what people bid for a bucket on ebay? pt |
