And if its been more than a month what are you going to do about it?
I've had a good month of being stuck in for uncontrollable reasons. And breaks in that month were spent keeping others happy as well as myself pretty equally.
So I fully intend on doing things just for me over the next month when time allows.
Like an art gallery. I have a list.
What's the last thing you did just for YOU?

I went to a festival last year just to let loose. This started a chain of events that ended with me in the doghouse for months (I didn’t actually do anything wrong). Never again. |

An inveterate narcissist with a grossly-inflated opinion of my superior abilities, aptitudes and physique; my concomitant dismissiveness of the vaunted "Dunning-Kruger" theory (of expertise) inevitably means that any activity I engage in is of the highest standard and must be solely for my personal aggrandisement!
Seriously, much of what I do is for the betterment of society; until very recently, when I retired, I have always found it difficult to do things that benefit me alone! |

God. Soooo long ago, I can’t even remember!. I’m spending the day with my sister in law on Saturday in Glasgow. Then we’re off to see Post Malone at night. I’m really looking forward to having a full day to myself. |

"I walked around the manicured lawn of the Saatchi Gallery, read a periodical and then sat by myself in their café drinking Rosé, with very little care in the world and no agenda."
Its not exactly tranquil there though, most of the time! |

I do it every day. It doesn't matter to me if it's big treat or small. I take myself out for a meal, buy myself flowers every week, go for a walk in the park or go to the cinema. Currently planning holidays in Cornwall in the summer. Can't wait. |

I can not even remember. I've 4 little people at home who needs looking after. A lay in past 7am would be a treat in years to come.
I had a beer today, maybe that counts

It might be such a little thing to many but I’m happy to have at least found time to have a lovely long bath soak to myself tonight. Locked the doors , told kids not to disturb me and just soaking it all in. Delish |

Today. Instead of doing all the shitty things I 'should' be doing, I just did nothing and sat in the sun. Then walked the dogs in bluebell woods and went and sat with the horse. I achieved nothing, but some well earned peace for me. Was much needed. |

I'm pretty good to myself to be honest. Really though, a well rested, happy mum is better for everyone so it's really all about the kids when I pamper or shop |

A day break in a city. I landed a lovely day too and did a bit of retail therapy for stuff.
I’m going to start doing it more.
An art gallery sounds good too, I go to them often but I talk myself out of going alone too many times. |

Last year when I could go to the gym. I felt better for it too.
I'll start again soon when my other commitments ease.
I think it's so important to do things for yourself but it can be exceptionally difficult to fit in to a hectic life. |
