Most memorable meat ever!

Mine was about a decade ago and it was a steak / sausage / chicken combo at a place called Carnivore in Kenya. They kept on coming to your table and carved the meat in front of you. Was amazing and ate so much.
Have you had a meat that you can't seem to shake off? Did you get the meat sweats? |

On holiday in Alderney, ordered a beef sandwich, it practically moo'd at me it was that raw.
Cold, red and slimy. This was over 20 years ago and I still remember it. |

Sounds similar to Viva Brazil in Glasgow. No menu, just a big salad station and the servers come round with all these different meats on skewers to carve at your table. Couldn't possibly say what my favourite was. Any of the steaks are amazing! |

While I can't stop laughing at that....
There's the perfectly cooked steak someone from fab cooked me. God was that good.
And there was one with a fancy name at the Crazy Bear I was once treated to. That was also very good.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
The free fore ribs of beef we had for Christmas this year. It was enormous and appeared as the roast with all the trimmings, in sandwiches, in Yorkshire puds, in a stir fry and just as bits to graze on.
I thought the free fillet steak in lockdown was the best.
Other 'meat' holds memories too. (Yep, OP, I lowered the tone. ) |

A steak house in Florida many years ago. They had a fire pit right inside the door with all the steaks being cooked on it. My mouth was watering before I even sat down between the smell and the sound of sizzling steaks. When you sat down the waitress brought over a platter of the different cuts and you could choose from there. It was fantastic |

Cote de boeuf at Ox Club in Leeds. Quite possibly the best meal I've ever had.
The fillet steak during a sunset dinner in the Maldives was also pretty damn good.
Oh, and delicious sausage this morning for breakfast

The tomahawk steak in planet hollywood New York.
A steak tartare I made for a date night.
Goucho grill this year, I had the rump and it was amazingly perfect.
And others. |

I ordered a chilli beef and noodles in a street stall when I live in SE Asia, I'll not say which country I was in at the time, after I ate it, a local asked me if I enjoyed the meat in which I replayed, saying it was very stringy beef. He told me it was dog meat, he should know, since he cooked it.

Never enjoyed Carnivore, always thought it was a bit gimmicky lots of food but i never thought the quality was good. I won a meat eating contest there though against some massive Aussies who bragged lots about their meat eating abilities. They couldn't believe they lost to a 5 foot girl. I rounded it off with dessert too just to rub it in |

In Estonia we had reindeer soup every day we were there, from a tourist place where they all dressed in traditional clothing and served it in wooden bowls. Not only was it delicious and helped me cope with morning sickness, but it was the cheapest place we found to eat. |

There's an Argentinian steakhouse not far from us in Mojaca that does the same with steak, I just can't keep up with them anymore, went there one evening and struggled to drive home |

A couple of years back I got some Beef Rump Caps at a great price for the shop and decided to do one for a Sunday Roast ...
OMFG it was like carving through butter when it was cooked...
Never could get them again |

A place here called Noir Dark Spirits.
Kangaroo Orzo Skull (GF)
Pan seared strips of kangaroo loin situated over sweet pea fried orzo w/ scrambled egg & finalized w/ sriracha agave aminos sauce.
It was surprisingly delicious. |

A tiny little place at the top of the mountains in Northern Cyprus. There was no need for a menu - they just did slow cooked lamb shanks with salad and fresh bread. It was so simple and rustic but the food, views and atmosphere were stunning. |

40 years ago on a kibbutz in Israel. Bacon every Saturday morning served up, with the volunteers and the old Eastern European Jews rushing to the canteen to take it home to cook. The fact that the religious Jews have passed laws so you cannot have pigs on Israel soil meant it was all the more enticing for us gentile volunteers and the atheist older Eastern European Jews (the people in charge at the Kibbutz did not call it pork, rather it was 'ostrich ' or 'rhinoceros') |

I didn't order it, but remember seeing bear paw on a menu in Budapest.
Best meat though, that's a tough one. Noting beats a bacon sandwich first thing in the morning after a big night. Bacon from the local farm shop, it's heaven.. |

"First time at the Fat Duck, years ago before Heston Blumenthal became a celebrity with three Michelin stars. The food was simply amazing and unlike anywhere else at the time."
My worst ever Fish and Chips was at the Fat Duck, residents get a discount and they took me there as I was doing some work for them - absolutely shocking and yet I did not feel I could say anything as they obviously saw it as a treat. |

My last night in Buenos Aires in March - went to the fanciest restaurant I could find and ordered their best steak rare. The waiter cut it with a spoon to check it was to my liking and it tasted incredible. With 2 glasses of Malbec the bill was less than £20 |
