This one is interesting. We naturally try and express the very best image of ourselves in public as we possibly can and then battle with our anxieties that we can't live up to that image.
I do love a well staged and artistic photo but I appreciate the picture not the person in those contexts. My favourite images of people are Eu Naturel - no make up, no fancy back ground just twinkling eyes and a massive cheesy smile.
My very favourite view is that utterly trusting depth of the soul nose to nose eye gaze |

Yes, there ae some people I would genuinly like to get to know on here.
Yes, I do dispaly myself to be an arsehole on the forums 90% of the time but, I do as a way of deflecting the fact that I doubt I will ever meet any of the people I would like to.
Yes, I do feel like I sit in the corner by myself but, I'm ok with that as I'm a singma male and enjoy my own comany.
Yes, there are a couple of people on here who I would like to know off the site, some I talk to others I don't.
I do know I'm a lazy speller as well but, realy don't care.
Yes, I have very strange life philosphies and beliefs and I do take after my parents and I'm a bit of a hippy.
I will alays be a parent first.

I think the problem when we meet people with whom we’ve connected online, is that our brain has to fill in a lot of gaps. Inevitably the reality will differ. Sometimes it’s a positive experience, sometimes not. It’s no one’s fault but can lead to disappointment, although that is more about the difference in the gap than the actual appearance of the person we meet.
In other words - it’s not what you look like, it’s what you look like compared to what we imagined.
