I decided to comb the crumbs out of my beard and prep dinner before going out to work a 12pm-10pm shift. This is slightly more bearable than the coronation

I think that's quite narrow sighted personally with King Charles very active with promoting the importance of the environment, his Duke of Edinburgh awards etc

Queen Camilla is very active on women's rights and abuse.

Kate and William are very much into promoting children having better education, mental health etc.

I'm sure there are many things I am missing but I'm not a hard-core fan, just observing.

where the world takes me

Yup completely avoided it, the idea that someone is supposed to "rule over" me because they were born into a family selected by a god that i don't believe in is utterly baffling to me.

No issues with others doing it but they're not my monarchy and never will be

Dear Old Alexa woke me with my news thingy this morning and by the time I got out of bed 2 minutes later, I'd had enough.

I've spent all day turning radios off when it got to news time and avoiding tv screens.

Not all that North of North London

I saw a glimpse of it as it was on the TV in the gym.

My social media has highlighted people being arrested for not actually protesting amf the story that the monarchy had power of veto on all reporting but that's as much as I've seen

How do you know if someone didn't watch the coronation?

Don't worry, they'll tell you.

Trust me, it isn't quite as cool and edgy as you think it is.

Yes, we watched it, a great occasion and genuinely fascinating to watch history happen and tradition revived.

Lol the history of a royal family in tatters a divorced man marries a divorcee his estranged son marries an actress, his brother allegedly a sex criminal also divorced, the only decent ones left are Anne and William although Anne is divorced too
