Should middle-aged women flirt?

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

My dilemma- there's a bloke I like. My flirting radar is pretty rusty so I don't know if he's interested or not. He leaves after next week so no time to plan my strategy.

Should I flirt with him? Should I wait for him to flirt? I haven't done this since I was a teen and all the 'my mate fancies you (giggle)' lark.

Eek! Oh yeah... And how do I flirt?!

Don't flirt, tell him straight. Otherwise it will take him the week to work it out

Christ yes, a little subtle flirting is fantastic and hopefully he'll get the hint.

Good luck.

Maybe get together at Costa, have a natural yoghurt. Spill a fair size amount over your top, wipe up and consume the spillage whilst suggestively looking into his eyes. Something subtle like that ?

Due to previous experiences, work colleagues are untouchables as far as I am concerned.

However, I shall make sure they know that I fancy them and shall give them my contact details when they leave.

He doesn't work at my place, just a couple of weeks contract. I just didn't want to seem desperate.

Liking the advice, thank you! I have done the 'holding his gaze for longer than 3 seconds' thing. And giggled like a 14 year old.

Even if he thinks I'm a sad old bag I suppose I've got nothing to lose. I'll wear a short skirt with my snow boots on Monday. And accidentally fall onto his lap.

This may not be everyone's cup of tea, however, I had some business cards printed with my avatar pic and my username on FAB, and am inclined to give it out to suitable gents that I may be interested in having some NSA fun.

I haven't set an exact date as yet but its kind of soonish, certainly I would think no later than 2020. We could have a black tie do any time though bro.

Well I would get into conversation with him, ask him when he finishes and then ask if he would like to go for a drink one night. If he says yes, hand him your mobile number and ask him to text you when its convenient.

Then you will either get a text or you won't, as he's not going to be around then it won't matter.

I wouldn't do the short skirt, staring at his cock kind of thing unless you specifically only want sex. If you are looking for a date then keep it friendly, a little flirtatious but not full on sexual

Certainly middle aged women should flirt, you just need to be subtle about it. I don't think you should giggle but hold his gaze a split second longer than you need to, put your hand on his arm briefly to make a point, look at him through your lashes or your hair, lean forward "accidentally" with a slightly lower but top than normal and smile.at him A LOT. Really hope it all goes well

My 'short' skirts are knee length. Wild, I know!!

I'm thinking I'll email him on his last day and ask if he fancies a coffee some time. I'm too shy to ask face to face. If he doesn't reply then I'll know....

"Just tell him, "I'm not very good at innuendo, so are you getting my message loud and clear. Big boy.""

I've been flirting again today. We're off out next week. It's hard work as I have to pretend to be innocent. I'm not used to this vanilla chat lark!

Beeston

He's a man...

Ask him.

Preferably in writing.

In triplicate.

With witnesses and signed receipt...

Best of luck
