Re-fill shops

Anyone use re-fill shops? Are they good whst do I have to bring?

Yes, they are great. Just bring a container - Tupperware, empty jars, laundry plastic bottles. They simply weigh and then fill it up.

Sadly the cost of living crisis has knocked the whole plastic debate down the list but it’s really important we all do our bit.

99% of them are also run independently so I like to use them as it means it’s making a difference to someone rather than just buying all your stuff in the supermarket.

Before we moved to a new town. My partner and I used to use one for things like coffee beans, cereal, soaps etc. it’s true that with the cost of living they are not the most cost effective option. But even getting a small portion of your stuff there is a step in the right direction, generally the quality of stuff there is quite good too.
