Off to a wedding tomorrow and can’t decide on the outfit so of course coming to fab for the answer!
So, full suit with waistcoat? Just the suit without waistcoat? Tie? No Tie? Bright or dark colours?
What are we thinking fab? |

I am a big fan of a suit with waistcoat and tie, then an even bigger fan of the jacket coming off, shirt sleeves rolled up and tie loosened. What will you feel most comfortable in and are you the groom, best man, guest or celebrant? |

I suppose it depends on the venue, the theme of the day, what you’re doing for a reception afterwards.
Personally I don’t think you can far wrong with tie and 3PS for the ceremony; then at the reception take the jacket off for the meal, then tie loosened and sleeves rolled up for the evening.
The waistcoat still stops you looking like riff raff |

This.
Even more so if someone (I say someone because I'm an equal opportunities girl, anyone in a suit is a good look) has the confidence to pull off something typically seen as the opposite gender. So a man in a dark suit, flowery pink shirt, dark tie for example, or a woman in a darker striped shirt something more masculine in appearance, braces as well as the waistcoat etc |

Just be smart
Choose something you are comfortable in - remember, they can be long days
As long as it's not another Peaky Blinders cliché
Jeez, that look is getting tired now |

Suit with the waistcoat and definitely with a tie. Preferably a bright tie, unless you've got a date and want to coordinate colours with her outfit? |

"I always Kilt up for weddings
I don’t even own a suit "
Always a kilt, shirt and jacket for weddings for us up north.
Can be a full Bonnie Prince Charlie our just jacket.
Keeps all the ladies happy ???? |

Open shirt, hairy chest, assuming you have one, and a big medallion hanging on your neck. Seriously though people wear anything from smart casual to three piece suit. Some weddings are less formal than others. You know what might be best but keep it low key, no need for fluffy pink or Bart Simpson tie |

Sure my jacket is the Argyle one, I wear the waistcoat more often than the jacket as it gets a little cosy sometimes |
