Reports that hotels in Liverpool were expecting bumper bookings for hosting Eurovision. Apparently that has not materialised and bookings are down. Is it time to ditch our participation and call it Livexit. Tom thought we had left Europe. Why cling to the past. It's all over the news |

"Tom........ We have NOT left Europe.
"
We were never in Europe… bunch of onion eating Johnny Foreigners… with their excellent fashion sense, good grooming and outstanding food… makes my blood boil… we didn’t spend centuries invading countries for them to be better at everything we gave them… its time we reinvaded everywhere and made everyone British… rename France Smellycheeseshire , Germany - Goodcarshire, italy - pastashire - will make it much easier when shopping!! |

"So what is wrong with Liverpool?"
Who said there’s anything wrong with Liverpool? It’s an amazing place with years of history and achievements - great nightlife and warm friendly people ( unless you act like a knob - then you’ll easily get filled in)
Coincidentally my hometown… |

Your assumption Thomas, is deliberately designed to misinform.
Most rooms ( if not all ) sold out a while back.
Now some people are cancelling their journeys and rooms. Some for personal reasons and some due to the TRAIN STRIKES that weekend.
The city is confident that all rooms will be booked by others that have been waiting for rooms.
All concert tickets are sold out for every day.
Sorry your city didn't get to host. Maybe another time Tom ..... until then I can barely move for visitors in the city enjoying the wonderful architecture, parks, shopping, museums and galleries , nightlife, restaurants and wonderful history and people.
I'm loving our new trains all painted blue pink and purple and yellow for the Eurovision ......

Bookings arent down! Though I expect those trying to charge ridiculous amounts may have been disappointed, but Liverpool will be packed with visitors all week |
