Warks / Northants Border

The music playing in my gym recently was Flower by Moby. It seems the lyrics in Moby's version are "Bring Sally Up", whereas the original is "Green Sally Up".

Either way, it reminded me of some YouTube videos I watched a while ago, in which people would do a 'rep' to the lyrics.

For example, every time you hear "Green Sally Up", you raise a dumbbell. "Green Sally Down" you lower the dumbbell. It can be used for squats, pullups, pushups, etc.

Does anyone know any other songs which are used in a similar way? I found it quite motivating.

I'll need to listen to this in the morning. It sounds like an interesting idea.

It starts off easy and by the end you're breathing through your arse.

Holy ****!

This song is 3.10 long. I'll break down how those seconds played out...

After 18 seconds - when will this start?

0.25 seconds - oh, first burpee down. This is easy. Only 2.45 left.

0.35 - another burpee. One every 10 seconds is doable.

0.50 - over a quarter of the song down. I have this nailed.

1 minute - oh another burpee.

1.20 - WTF just happened!

2 minutes - thank **** for that break.

2.15 - oh here we go again!

2.30 - I'm about to die!

2.45 - cardiac arrest!

2.50 - start CPR!

2.55 - get the defib!

3.00 - clear!

3.05 - pulse is stabilising!

3.10 - vows never to try that again!

Yep, that's pretty much how it goes. Thank you for the laugh with the break down! #sorrynotsorry

AC/DC - Thunderstruck

Do a pushup every time he says Thunder or Thunderstruck. Hold in plank between reps to make it harder.

Or same song but switch between Hollow rocks and Superman for an ab workout.
