Yes, amazing. Another one taken too early. I think that I've got just about all of his solo work. Also Jansen's and Barbieri's. They were all bloody good musicians. |

The young Sylvian was once voted the most beautiful man on the planet. Or was it best dressed? Might have been both. As he's aged he's embraced the more grizzled and mature look, but still clearly bloody good looking. Personality wise, I've never heard anyone say anything bad about him. Even when Japan broke up, I think it was very amicable, and all the members have worked with each other many times since. Not sure about his relationship status but I don't recall any acrimonious divorces or anything. Work-wise he seems to have done a lot of collaborations with other highly regarded musicians and is very highly regarded in the contemporary music scene.
So yeah, I very much imagine him as being a nice fella  |
