Gordon Lightfoot has sadly passed away. Maybe not the best known singer songwriter but he wrote two of my favourite songs - If you could Read my Mind and The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. RIP. |

Yes I know that feeling. You hear the classics but you don't necessarily know who wrote them. |

As often happens when someone dies it may bring some renewed interest in his music and especially that song. |
