I'd shred if I had a shredder but ive never been overly concerned about my address being found..... it exists in any case.
Gone are the days of me getting bank statements etc and bills etc .... everything is online.

Address goes in the rubbish bin, the remainder in recycling.
Any utility bills that are still paper get shredded.
We happily gave people cheques with bank account number, sort code on the front, name and address on the back and a copy of our signature for years. |

Shred everything. I don't want Steve in the dump to see my empty tube of vaseline, a cucumber that now looks like a cactus and a cream cheese traffic cone next to my address.
That's how rumours get started. |

"I shred unwanted mail / package labels with my name/address shown, but some friends throw it straight in the bin.. do you shred or bin it ? " I burn it in our fire pit.

I was always more lax with what I put in the recycling than I should have been. I do use a shredder now, but only because I work from home and I wouldn't take chances with anyone else's information. |

Is this just a way of finding out which Fabbers you can bin stalk?!
I used to have a guy in my team at work who enjoyed shredding so much, he’d ask us all to save it for him to do. |

As people go to landfill sites in the hope to find personal information and commit scams they'd even go to the length of putting shredded paper together to create something worth while to scam |

Bin.
The only thing I worry about anyone seeing is the packaging from sex toys.
So that gets put in neighbours bins rather than ours. The bin men probably think the old dear a few doors down is a raging nymphomaniac......
