Rip off sex shops

Recently found out that our local sex shop is really ripping people off.
The owner buys his condoms from another shop in town, 99p for eighteen and then sells them in his shop at 3 condoms for a pound.
He is also getting most of his clothing and shoes off a web site called 'everything for a fiver'.
With the way things are people should be really careful where they shop nowadays. |

OP - does one detect just the slightest hint of ...... jealousy there...?????
There is an easy answer - once one has calmed down a bit - go and buy your stuff from where HE gets it from.
Or, ditto, then open a sex shop in competition and undercut him...

What makes you think you have the right to buy something for next to nothing from someone who's put time, effort and expense to make the products you want available to you?
If you feel that strongly about it why not source the goods yourself? |

Not really, but a shop isn't going to charge same price as its supplier.
Every shop puts a mark up on stock, my firm put a 60% mark up, I think you'll find it's called business.
You as the customer can decide to buy or not buy. |

myself in these tough times when people are watching the pennies i would have thought a bit of advice and forewarning on saving money would be apprecieated on here?,but no!, they love to waste money unnecessaryily so leave them to it!. |

I used to manage a sex shop. 8k for the licence, 4 full time members of staff, rent and rates made it hard without marking stuff up to make a living for the owners and to pay us lot too x |

it isn't doing anything wrong but i don't have to shop there if i dont want to,i prefer to be a bit more careful with my money but at the end of the day it is up to you where you waste yours!.  |

And like I said I don't waste my money as I shop around rather than rush and buy from first shop I see.
But I don't feel the need to slag off a business that isn't doing anything wrong!!! |

So make up your own minds as to if he is doing anything wrong or not. |

Have done that but all that happened was that friend of his on the local force told him that he had been reported.
And he is doing those things as i know the person in question quite well. Just think he's wrong to be doing all that he is doing. |

They have the power to simply walk in and seize anything that is not legal.
Also any Pirate porn that he may have.
They dont even need a warrant....... |

Commercial premises are covered by different rules to those of Houses.
They dont get search warrants for car boot sales, but do raid them for illegal porn etc.
Theft of Copyright is seen as hard crime, because your stealing from very wealthy companies. |

I went to sex shop to price up sex dolls there were none on display just in boxes at £50 i left and returned next day and same models were this time displayed blown up but priced at £60 quid i asked why those on boxes were fifty quid and those blown up sixty quid and was told inflation  |

My local sex shop offers DVD previews, i.e you pay £8 and you are directed into a small room, with one of those TV combo units with a built in DVD player, a black leather chair similar to one you'd see on Mastermind, a box of tissues and a flip top bin... I think eight quid for a self wank is expensive |
