May Goals

Jump to: Newest in thread

By *BootyfulDay OP   Woman  over a year ago

If you posted in the April goals thread how did your month go? Did you achieve some of what you wanted/make some progress? If you just wanted to get to the end of the month you did it!

What’s everyone’s plans for this month? I’m just being nosy and like to know what everyone is focusing on or working towards hehe plus putting your goals/intentions out there is supposed to help you focus/manifest them!

I'm not going to lie, today has been such a write off for the 1st of the month, between over working this weekend and having a terribly sore ear infection I slept all day when I got in from night shift. I have managed to get my 1 mile run done before I head in to work tonight so that's a bonus! I can't remember what day I'm on but the streak continues But even though it's a bad start, we can still continue with the rest of the month in a positive way!

This month I will deep clean my bathroom and clean the grout/reseal the bath and my reward will be the loveliest bubbly bath with a glass of something fabulous hehe

I also want to start journaling; does anyone else do this? I have a diary with prompts already that I've been putting off starting but I think I will start actually writing in it!

This month for me is going to be all about consistency! Building some good habits hopefully and looking forward to summer

But share with us your plans for the month, what if anything you’re hoping to achieve and let’s go into May and smash it! If you have need any motivation / advice to help your goals then maybe we can all support each other!

Keep being a bloody badass!

Start my first, that failed previously this year. Feeling more motivated this time. Finally get round to fixing my girlfriend's old car so we can sell it. It's blocking my bike in the garage and the weather's getting better.

Hope your ear infection disappears imminently!

Goodluck with your goals, stay positive and don’t let a small hiccup detour you from achieving!

Mines just to eat cleaner for the month and continue hitting the gym hard for a holiday in June.

I can't remember what my April goals were

However my goals for May are mainly about finding time and making plans. Oh, and some practical stuff too.

Good luck with your bathroom!

I'm not sure if I posted in the April thread. I haven't been out for ages apart from to the local shop. My support worker wants to take me out Wednesday for a short walk and go to a coffee shop so I'm gearing myself up for that

Exercise. Running one mile every day sounds do able

Start to accept my body and stop dressing like I want to hide everything. That's going to be a really tough one.

Do things for me. Last month I took some sewing classes and loved it. This month I'd like to take some dance classes.

Sounds like you have a lot to do this month! I hope you manage to hit your goals. I can definitely recommend the benefits of journaling. It helps keep your mind focused on the things you want to do, and it’s also a safe space for interrogating your thoughts and feelings. As for me, my goals are always to be more productive with projects, and also now to bully myself back into shape after a prolonged illness. Xx

Oh my days you have such a busy month ahead! I’m assuming you’re doing a whole house redecoration? Can you please share some of your motivation please? that’s so exciting though! All the best for the launch!

Thank you! Yes, whole house. I live in a flat so it's not... huge. But it takes time. So far I've done one room. I'm sort of cheating, two more are almost done already

I'm May? Am I a goal??

But seriously this month I just want to carry on as I am but also make more time for myself. Time to do things (people) I want to do rather than putting things off due to not having time. Time to start making my happiness a priority

Aw thanks me too, it’s such a sore pain in the booty and I hate not being able to hear my surroundings, I’m already super jumpy normally

Holy moly you look super fit in your pics! I need to do the eating clean but I’m so bad at giving in far too easily!

Where are you off to on your holidays?

Heheh it is isn’t it also I’m too stubborn to break the streak….if I miss one day then I end up not running for months haha

That’s okay, sometimes it’s about knowing that you are just one step in the right direction than you were yesterday

Oooo practical stuff sounds very adulty, good luck! But yes make sure you find yourself some time!

To keep this feeling of positivity going, and to get my legs feeling like London to Brighton in September is actually going to be possible, in the time I want.

Yes! It is! Even on the days that you just don't even want to at all! The majority of my runs are super slowwwww but still counts hehe

What kind of dance takes your fancy?

I love the focus on doing things for you! I need to take some inspiration from you!

Didn't post April goals but for May goals are two. First is re-acquire a proper gym routine after a long break. Second is to make headway on a reflective essay for a PgDip. Inspiration has been lacking

Oh, I always feel like my goals are the same each month, but I guess they're ongoing ones so it's ok!

I want to keep consistent at the gym. I've been good at that through the year, but would like to ramp up the cardio a little (that is, do some!) I want to read more; I've really not done well on that, despite it being a goal every month so far. But I'm going on holiday so will make sure to use that time to catch the reading bug again!
