3 numbers will get you £25.00 and the higher value prizes will be lower too. I've always thought there was a lot of disparity between the high and low prizes so this is a good move by Camelot. If the lotto ticket price had risen in line with inflation since it was launched 18 years ago the price of a basic ticket now would be £1.68, so all they're doing is applying one price rise every 20 years lol.

I think they should drop it back to one draw per week though, for both the Euro and National Lottos.

Mugs will still buy one as they have no sense. Just think those who bought 1 a week for the last 18 years will have spent well over 9k so far and thats on one ticket some spend far more already. They dont refer to them as mug punters for nothing.

I buy a lottery ticket and a euro lottery ticket for every draw, I wouldn't describe myself as a mug really I know the odds but I'm a dreamer.

Think your maths is a bit out...

2 lotto draws per week = £104 pa x 18 years = £1872 (that's a max, I know there wasn't always a Wednesday draw)

It's a game of chance, if you think we're mugs to put a ticket on fair enough, but I bet those with a couple of mill in the bank courtesy of Camelot and the lottery probably won't be over fussed as they say "I'm considerably richer than yow"

Yawns! As you said the 2 draws have not been going all the time so if you are going to be pedantic and try go to the nearest pound you should at least get your facts perfect. Epic fail!!

Why ask a loaded question? Life itself is a gamble.

Unlike you I wasn't trying to be preside just throwing a ball park out as in reality there will be few who put money on every week on every draw for 18 years. So will give you a second epic fail as I wasn't attempting to be anally precise unlike yourself. How big a hole are you going to dig? Any deeper you will be able to hide in it though lol.

'well over £9k' isn't a ball park figure though is it. It's like asking a car salesman to give you a ball park figure for a new car an he tosses out £500k when the actual cost is £12,000. It's meaningless if it isn't as close to the exact figure as possible.
