An Italian professional cyclist called Antonio Tiberi actually shot dead a Ministers cat in a place called San Marino who once scored a goal against the England football team after 8 seconds.
The cyclist has lost his job with his cycling team as a result. Despite being fined 4000 euros by a court he has been forced to leave his team by mutual agreement. The Minister said that his 3 year old daughter loved that cat. Reports do not confirm the name of the cat or the motive. It may have been an accident but one thing is certain. The cat is dead. What does this say about cyclists. It's all over the news |

It says nothing about cyclists. Just as it doesn't say anything about fathers, men or Italians.
An individual did something bad. He's been punished. End of.
No need to attach your prejudices to this story |

"Is there more context to how he actually shot the cat, because I don't understand how shooting a cat could possibly be accidental? "
He shot it with an air rifle he was firing (I believe) from hos bedroom window. He claims it was new and hecwas trying it out and aiming firva street sign having underestimated it's power |

"
Shows how poor the England squad are when a cat can score against us in 8 seconds |

I think if he's found to have killed the cat purposely, then he should be ground into cat food and fed to the strays. Got no time for animal cruelty and those that inflict it. |

It says Nothing abiut cycling, thats irrelevant.
I am glad he is paying for his crime.
I wish there were stronger rules and laws against animal cruelty in this country. |

"Did he shoot the cat whilst riding his bike, and was the cat moving as well?"
According to Einstein all motion is relative, so it makes no difference if the man was moving while the cat was stationary, or if the cat was moving while the man was stationary.
However according to Scrödinger, if the cat had been able to take refuge within a box, it would be in a superposed state of being both alive and dead. Which is better than being just dead. Perhaps this is why cats like to sit inside cardboard boxes, as protection against being shot in Italy. |

"This happened a while ago what makes you drag it up now?"
The guy was only sacked by his team last week they'd previously suspended him and has clearly expected him to do some sort of community service and show some public remorse as they've now savked him stating he didn't meet their expectations while he was suspended. So it's back in the news |

By reading the OP's posts and replies this is more about a "cyclist" than the cat, I wish he would just come out with the actual agenda because it's not exactly hidden.
As to the answer, I'm more concerned about the dead cat tbh |
