New year! Mmm, well for me it is a time to reflect... and not to celerbrate the arrival of the new year because it could be one you would sooner forget but simply that I and hopefully friends and family have got through the last year without any tragedy and toast that fact at the appointed hour.

Normally a time for friends and family to get together and PARTY!!!!

Kiss or kick goodbye to the old year and welcome in the new one

This year I won't see my family until after the new year so hav'nt decided whether to have a vanilla new year or a swinging one

Reflect back on the up's and downs of the previous year and look forward with great anticipation to another year with Mrs Bonks, if you have someone special in your life the future always looks rosy

I'll be camping with other campers down in South Devon, along with my pooch.

No doubt there will be a BBQ or two, with lots of alcohol etc...

Just hope the weather will be nice!

Can't wait!

A world of my own

Hate it, have spent the last 9 New Years Eves home alone. No where to go, no one to go with, friends live too far for me to go to them or for them to come to me. I try to go to bed early to sleep through it but can't because of the fireworks.

Last year I was on a boat on the hudson encouraging japanese tourists to drink brandy and baileys, watching the fireworks go off. This year its off in the van to somewhere in Cheshire. Meeting up with a load of other forumites from a vanilla site. Most prob get them drinking brandy and baileys also
