Fish and chips obviously, it’s been a good few years since I’ve had fish and chips wrapped in newspaper.
I once found a house that I very nearly rented in the newspaper my chippy tea was wrapped in.
What do you remember fondly or not so that’s no longer in the news.
And no saying white dog pooh. |

"Our dog does white poo…. It’s fed raw food

I wonder why humans don't do white poo when they eat raw food ? "
We don't gnaw on bones generally. It's the calcium in uncooked bones that turns dog shit white.

"A chippy near ours still wraps theirs in newspaper.
Those tiny red spiders. I remember seeing them everywhere when I was wee. Where did they go ?…."
Mites, they were strange things and there does seem to be much less of them.
Did you wee on them, perhaps that was it. |

Isn't white dog poo a sign of an unbalanced diet ?"
It’s down to the calcium in the bones, dogs in the 70s got given a lot more bones. |

Shocking! It was made illegal by the UK government (not the EU as commonly thought) in 1990 under the Food Safety Act.
But yep - I don't see those baby spiders any more either. Thank fuck!!
One thing I really miss is queuing overnight for gig tickets. You stood a chance of getting one back then instead of now getting ripped off by ticketmaster and missing out as they sell out online to resellers in seconds.
