Ramsbottom

They were my local team, certainly not one of the big teams that everyone else supported. My father used to take me on each Saturday and I loved it from day one.

It was my boy hood dream to play for them and it was such an honour to spend a good few years playing for them throughout my career.. x

Locally I support Wrexham, always have done long before it's takeover as did my Dad who used to work for Wrexham breweries as a wagon driver.

Manchester United nationally, again it was my Dad's team, also my son's and his Dads

In the 80s, I supported Liverpool but then they stopped winning so I switched to Man Utd.

These days, it's Man City though it probably won't be long before I give Newcastle a go

I have two teams.

The team that I grew up watching and made me fall in love with the game. Man Utd. More specifically, Eric Cantona. The man will always be a gootball God to me.

But my local team. Just happens to be Newcastle Utd

YNWA that's why.

The atmosphere at Anfield is... Well it just has to be experienced. It feels like the crowd are on the pitch and stadium is alive.

And I've lived there, well Walton which should make me a blue but I'm a wool so it doesn't matter anyway.

My local team was Brentford but no way was I gonna watch them. My family supported the hoops since my grandad took my dad in the 60s. Been a season ticket holder for the last 15 years seen some great matches and some total shit like this season. But they are and always will be my first true love

I support Man United despite being from Derby. I know, I know. I started supporting them because my older brother did and I wanted to have something in common with him, growing up

Back during the 86 world cup i started to get into football so needed to pick a team, I ask my mother which places she had lived, she said Brighton, Aston and Sunderland so I choose Aston Villa and supported them ever since.

Manchester/London

2 teams I support are the town I was born in and then also a club where both my father and I worked. I was the only one in 4 generations not to go pro, despite playing at county level. My son was scouted aged 6 by Liverpool but I said no and he thanks me for that! Ha ha
